LittlePins Community Guidelines

LittlePins is intended to be a useful, friendly and trustworthy place for parents and carers to discover family-friendly places.
Our community features, including reviews, corrections and location submissions, work best when people provide useful and honest information.
1. Be honest
Reviews and submissions should reflect your genuine experience.
Do not deliberately post false information or create fake reviews.
2. Keep reviews relevant
Reviews should relate to the location, activity or service being reviewed.
Useful reviews might discuss things such as:
- Your overall experience
- Facilities
- Cleanliness
- Staff
- Value for money
- Suitability for different ages
- Accessibility
- Food and drink
- Parking
- Baby-changing facilities
- Pram access
3. Do not post personal information
Do not publish:
- Your home address
- Telephone numbers
- Email addresses
- Children’s names or identifying information
- Other people’s personal information
- Private conversations
- Sensitive personal information
Think carefully before including information about other people.
4. No abuse or harassment
Do not use LittlePins to:
- Threaten people
- Harass individuals
- Bully people
- Make discriminatory comments
- Post hateful content
- Encourage violence
- Target individual members of staff
You can criticise a service or experience without personally attacking someone.
5. No defamatory or unsubstantiated accusations
Do not use reviews to make serious accusations about individuals or businesses that you cannot substantiate.
Describe what happened from your own perspective and stick to factual, relevant information.
6. No spam or advertising
Do not use reviews or submissions to advertise unrelated products, services or businesses.
7. Location submissions
If you submit a new location, provide information that you reasonably believe is accurate.
We may check submissions before publishing them.
We may reject duplicate, inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable submissions.
8. Corrections
If you believe information on a location page is incorrect, please report it.
Please provide useful information where possible so we can investigate the correction.
9. Reviews may be moderated
LittlePins may review content submitted by users.
We may remove or refuse content that:
- Breaks these guidelines
- Is unlawful
- Is abusive
- Is misleading
- Contains personal information
- Is spam
- Is irrelevant
- Appears fraudulent or deliberately deceptive
- Creates an unreasonable legal or safety risk
We do not guarantee that every review will be published.
10. Businesses and venues
Businesses can contact us regarding information about their listing or potentially inappropriate content.
We will consider reports fairly, but a business requesting removal of a genuine review does not automatically mean that the review will be removed.
11. Children’s privacy
LittlePins is a family-focused service, so we take particular care with information relating to children.
Please do not include identifying information about children in reviews, submissions or comments.
12. Our aim
Our goal is simple:
Help families make better decisions about where to go.
Good community contributions are honest, useful, respectful and based on genuine experiences.

If you believe content breaches these guidelines, please contact:

Please include the relevant location and, where possible, the content you are concerned about.
We will review reports and take appropriate action.
14. Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines as LittlePins grows and new community features are introduced.
